A fantastic conclusion for the Castrol Goal Events

The accompanying events of the 5-a-side Castrol Goal Championship in Jeddah has concluded last weekend after being held for ten successful days starting, Wednesday 25 November. The events included a shot speed measuring contest with a special device made specially for this purpose.
The event was launched in Serifee Mega Mall, Jeddah on Thursday before being shifted to the Red Sea Mall which is located only meters away from the main venue of the Castrol Goal Championship. The event continued until December 4 amid extensive involvement of the complex visitors and attendees who enjoyed the event.
The participants also enjoyed an association with social activities, entirely different form other events. Castrol's unique idea of participation was praised, as the events association was not limited to a certain age, allowing all the participants to enjoy the event and win prizes from Adidas for sports clothing.
The events accompanying the Castrol Goal Championship is considered a pro active event prior to the main tournament which is set to be held in Jeddah on December 10, 11 and 17.
The 5-a-side Castrol Goal Championship is the first of its kind to be organized in the GCC. Formerly held in May in Dubai, the organizing Committee announced the registrations for the event is free for those who wish to participate. The best 4 teams will then play in the final round at the end of this year in UAE to decide the overall champions, who will be given a trip of a lifetime prize of being taken to the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.
